WORK SCHEDULE

Weekly Work Schedule for the Route 9 Project.

Beginning Sunday Night 7-20-08 thru Thursday Night 7-24-08 work will begin in the median area around the guardrail resulting in left lane colsures on Route 9 EB and WB. between Hammond St. and Chestnut Hill Benevolent Society.
Catch Basin cleaning will take place thruout the jobsite, with special concentration between Tully and Hammond St. on Rt. 9 EB and WB.
Installation of Traffic Loops will occur at any intersection that contains traffic lights during the entire week.
Keyspan/National Grid, Verizon, NStar and RCN will be raising their structures on Rt. 9 EB and WB resulting in left and right lane closures.
Installation of impact attenuators (part of the new guardrial system) will take place in two locations.
The first location is Rt. 9 WB between Hammond and Tully St. and the second location is in the median at the Chestnut Hill Benevolent Society.
Expect left lanes closures for this operation.
Please obey the speed limit and the various construction activity signs placed thruout the jobsite. Please slow down when driving thru the construction zone as men and equipment are in the roadway.
Aggregate Industries appreciates your patience during this construction activity.
Please note that there are various utility crews working on Route 9 at any given time that are not working for Aggregate Industries.
The limits of Aggregate Industries roadwork improvements begin at the Newton- Brookline Town line and end at High St. All work on this project is in the Town of Brookline only.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: KEYSPAN/NATIONAL GRID WILL BE REPAIRING THEIR UNDERGROUND GAS LINES BETWEEN HAMMOND ST. AND THE NEWTON TOWN LINE ON ROUTE 9 EB AND WB UNTIL OCTOBER 2008. THIS WORK BEING DONE BY
KEYSPAN/NATIONAL GRID HAS  NO AFFILIATION WITH THE WORK BEING DONE BY AGGREGATE INDUSTRIES ON THE MASS HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT ROUTE 9 PROJECT.

The project in Brookline begins at the Newton-Brookline Town Line at station 0+00 Brookline, then continues along Route 9 (Boylston Street) easterly in the town of Brookline to the end of project at station 145+00 at the end of State Highway Layout before the intersection of High Street and Washington Street bear Brookline Village.
