WORK SCHEDULE

Weekly Work Schedule: Beginning Sunday night
5-11-08 thru Thursday night 5-16-08  we will be installing new granite edging in the median between Cypress St. and Boylston Place which will result in left lane closures on Route 9 eastbound and westbound. We will also be installing new granite edging in the median near Norfolk St. on Route 9 WB, which will result in left lane closures. This crew will then move to removing and resetting vertical curbing between Tully St. and Hammond St.
Additionally we will be preparing the median for Bituminous Concrete between Warren St. and Boylston Place resulting in left lane closures on Route 9 eastbound and westbound. This crew will then start the sidewalk excavation between Tully St. and Hammond St. resulting in right lane closures on Route 9 EB.
We will also be installing Bituminous Concrete in the median between Lee St. and High St. resulting in left lane closures on Route 9 WB and EB.

Note: The scheduled replacement of sidewalk  between Tully St. and Hammond St. will begin this week with sidewalk excavation, and vertical curbing being removed and reset.

Due to the high volume of emails we have received regarding construction work in the Chestnut Hill Mall area we would like to clarify that the area in which we are working begins at the Newton Town line and ends at High Street in Brookline.

The project in Brookline begins at the Newton-Brookline Town Line at station 0+00 Brookline, then continues along Route 9 (Boylston Street) easterly in the town of Brookline to the end of project at station 145+00 at the end of State Highway Layout before the intersection of High Street and Washington Street bear Brookline Village.
