Work Schedule

To minimize traffic and delays, this project is intended for mostly nighttime work between the hours of 8:00pm and 5:00am. Some types of work, including sidewalk and median work, will occur in daylight hours and may require single lane closures and or parking restrictions..

Due to the significant volume of traffic on this roadway, MassHighway has contracted for much of this project to occur at night. Work is scheduled for Sunday through Thursday nights each week.  Work will not typically be performed on Friday or Saturday nights. Work crews will typically deploy on the roadway following the evening rush hour and will remain active through the night, clearing the roadway each morning before the morning rush hour.

Speed limits on this project are 35 mph, and be advised that there are certain areas within the project where speed limits are lower.

We will announce specific work schedules throughout the project through the schedule feature of this website.
